Steven Burggraf, Ph. D. —Senior PastorPastor Steve and his wife Margie are from Mansfield, Ohio, and have two daughters. Steve began serving in pastoral ministry in 1983 and was ordained with the Christian and Missionary Alliance in 1989. He has been a youth pastor, assistant pastor, associate pastor in various churches in Ohio and Michigan. His education consists of a Master of Divinity Degree in Pastoral Psychology and Counseling from Ashland Theological Seminary, and a Ph. D. in Clinical Psychology from Union Institute in Cincinnati, Ohio. Steve is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and a Licensed Independent marriage and Family Therapist. He specializes in marriage and family counseling and dealing with difficult teens. Steve has a burden and feels God’s strong call to provide Biblical help and counseling to struggling families. In 1999 he founded and is the Executive Director of Family Life Counseling and Psychiatric Services in Mansfield. This agency specialized in treating families and adolescents. In the fall of 2005, Steve resumed a pastoral position as the Senior Pastor of First Alliance Church. He senses God’s call to lead others into a deeper relationship with the Lord, to know and love Him better, and to create a call for strong, godly marriages and families in order to impact our world for Christ.
