James “Jim” Cheatham—Assistant Pastor 

Born and raised in West Virginia, Jim served in the United States Navy as a Medic at the National Navy Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland.  Jim earned his Bachelor of Arts in Christian Education from Bible College then served as the C.E.F. Director for Columbus, Ohio.  He was the local director of CEF ministries for  32 years.  He and his wife Eloise and their three children came to First Alliance Church in 1972 where he was involved with the children’s ministries.  Currently Jim serves as coordinator for the senior’s fellowship, Keenagers, and by visiting shut ins and elderly in homes and hospitals.  Jim has several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
